Two weeks ago on January 22 and 23, 2016 my neighborhood received its second greatest snowstorm on record with 29.3 inches, just 3 inches shy of Snowmageddon in 2010.
I for some reason, do not have any photographic evidence that the snowstorm in 2010 existed. I remember it, fondly. But did I get a picture on my cell phone? No. I got nothing. The only thing I can think is that I didn't have an iphone yet. Thank you Blackberry. I have no other explanation. I sort of define my life PRE and POST iphone. Flash forward six years. Holy crap. Six years? What the hell is happening here?
These were not taken with my phone, these were taken with a D610. Nikon of course.

This is my house. That is my car under that three feet of snow. Below is a shot of our sledding hill, near Little River Elementary. There is a road, for cars, running in front of that line of homes there. You can't really make it out, but trust me. It's there.
This is my street. We weren't plowed out until Tuesday. Friday to Tuesday doesn't seem like a long time until you are married with a toddler. And then, pretty much nothing gets in the way of you and a trip to Giant.
This below, is said toddler. It may appear that she is enjoying the snow in this picture. She did not, entirely. But that could be said for any and all experiences in her life so far.
This below is a shot of the Staples house, and Christopher Gavin's Jeep Cherokee.
This below is the street to the side of my house, they call them alleys. Whatever, I called it three feet of snow no one was going to plow.
Adam and Ben, and Gage there in the back. This was a prized icicle. These kids had a blast.
Rachel Hill. Sort of.
You get the point. The snow storm was insane. I was insane. I'm glad it's all mostly melted now. But we definitely got more than enough sledding in...
I'm so ready for the beach. Thanks for looking!
